The carpets had to balance sustainability, comfort and visual appeal, while working naturally with the existing furniture, colours and materials of the spaces. The patterns were kept intentional and adaptable to suit the scale of the rooms.
PRINT DESIGN

As part of a client project for Shanti Maurice, under Neytt Homes, the project focused on developing carpets for the hotel rooms and suites. The carpets were designed to complement the warm, relaxed and tropical character of the interiors while adding a distinct visual identity to each space.
The brief explored handwoven carpets made using RPet (recycled PET), combining sustainability with a refined, contemporary aesthetic. The designs were developed differently for the bedroom and living suite using repetitive patterns for the bedroom to create rhythm and continuity, and abstract compositions for the living suite to create a more expressive and artistic feel.
